BUZZ RODDY as Derrick “Derry” O’Leary |
A ruthless politician and a long-time widow with his only child, Jen, his prized possession. Derry is a staunch Irish Catholic conservative serving the Fianna Fail (Republican Party). Derry’s position is now under scrutiny for political corruption.
Derry’s only child and a student of Irish Literature. Jenny believes that a corrupt government is the downfall of humanity. Currently studying abroad at Notre Dame
Raised Roman Catholic in Dublin, Kelson now an agnostic, global citizen, is an author, researcher and literature professor and currently the chair at Notre Dame. A modern-day Merlin who mines language to re-cover ancient truths, Kelson offers prescient counsel that Derry cannot ignore.
A Protestant, rebel poet from the poorer streets of London. On Semester at Sea at Notre Dame with an academic scholarship for his mastery of verse and his talent as a musician.
Derry’s deceased brother’s wife. A long-time widow who has helped to take care of Derry and Jen since her husband died.
Derry’s aide and campaign manager. An anonymous back-bencher displaying enormous ambition. He has a jealous eye for Jenny but proclaims his bachelor status is more advantageous for his climbing political career.
Tax and Nonprofit Consultant. I have 35 years of experience in the non-profit, financial planning arenas with experience in the nonprofit and individual income tax, retirement, estate, charitable and investment planning.

Born in Los Angeles, CA, Corey Brunish has lived in Charlottesville, VA, Brussels, Belgium, and Copenhagen, Denmark. Corey attended Beverly Hills High School and graduated from Occidental College with a B.A. in Musical Theater. Corey lives in Portland, OR, where he is active in theater and film. Corey's favorite theater roles include Billy Flynn opposite Peggy Taphorn in Chicago, Colonel Biggs in Ghosts of Celilo, and Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls. Corey is a member of SAG, AFTRA, AEA, and AGMA. Corey grew up in Los Angeles and attended Occidental College garnering a BA in Theatre Arts. He has to date won 8 Tony Nominations as a producer and won two Tonys. He has been involved in 2 Grammy-winning CDs of Broadway cast recordings. He is an Emmy Nominee (regional). His debut CD "throwback Thursday" was released in 2017 on Broadway Records. He is a busy regional stage director and has served as an Asst Director on Broadway.

Started acting at Ireland’s National Theater, Upon returning to New York, her role as Josie, in Walter Macken’s Home, Mary started directing there; a Sean O’Casey One-Act Play Festival. From there she branded out to create New York’s first Lunchtime Series at the Quaigh with The Sea Plays of Eugene O’Neil starring William Hickey, Brian Dennehy, and Jim DeMarse. Lunchtime continued until 1982 with the highlight being Samuel Beckett’s Krapp’s Last Tape with Billy Hickey. Also at the Quaigh, Mary earned her Actor’s Equity Association membership with British author David Pownall’s Livingston & Sechele.
